Story One: Reviews

The 23-week gap before the Review Card

AdamHelper, a Boston-area moving and labor business run by My MASH Card’s founder, had built a genuinely strong reputation the slow way: 41 five-star Google reviews collected organically since November 2019. But reviews are easy to lose track of asking for. A job wraps, everyone’s tired, and "I’ll send you the review link later" almost never actually happens.

For 23 straight weeks before adopting the Review Card, AdamHelper collected zero new Google reviews. Not because the work stopped being good: the ask just kept slipping.

Once the Review Card went into rotation (handed to a customer on a phone or tablet the moment a job finished, one tap straight to the Google review page), that changed immediately. 14 new reviews came in over the following 13 weeks, every one of them through the card.

"I always meant to ask happy customers for a review. I just never did it in the moment, and by the next day it felt awkward to bring up. Handing someone the Review Card while we're still standing in their driveway removed the awkward part entirely: it's just one tap while they're already glad the job's done."

Story Two: Lead Capture

Turning "do you have a card?" into an actual lead

AdamHelper's other use case happens out in the field, not after the fact. Moving and labor jobs are visible: neighbors see the work happening, and it's common for someone walking by to stop and ask "do you have a card?"

Before, that moment produced a paper card that might get lost, or a verbal "just call me" that never got written down. Now it's a QR code, scanned on the spot, with the visitor's own contact info captured directly into the lead feed: tagged with where they were met, ready for a follow-up instead of relying on someone remembering to call back.

Two cards, one account

AdamHelper runs a standard card for capturing new leads in the field and a separate Review Card for asking finished customers for a Google review: both live under the same My MASH Card account, no separate tools or logins.

FAQs

Does the Review Card actually work with Google Reviews?

Yes. The Review Card template sends visitors directly to your Google review link with one tap: no searching for your business, no extra steps. Yelp, Facebook, or a custom link can be added as secondary options.

Can I use one card for both reviews and lead capture?

They’re two separate templates built for different jobs, not one card doing double duty. Your main card handles lead capture: the share-back form, where-met context, follow-up tracking. The Review Card is focused entirely on collecting reviews and doesn’t include a lead-capture form itself, though you can add an optional link back to your main card for anyone who wants to connect further. Both can live under the same account, and you can switch which one you’re sharing at any time.

Do I need the customer’s phone or an app to make this work?

No. They scan a QR code or tap a link: no app to download, nothing to install. That’s the entire point: zero friction between "the job just went well" and the review actually getting left.
